Eastern Kentucky University police issue warning

Eastern Kentucky University police issued a public safety warning Monday after a report that a man exposed himself to two women Sunday night.

Police said that four women reported that they were followed by a white male through the Burnam Hall parking lot about 11:30 p.m. Sunday. While officers were checking around Walters Hall, two female students reported that a white man exposed himself to them near a smoking area at Walters Hall.

Officers searched the area but did not find anyone.

The man was described as 6 feet tall and about 175 pounds, with black hair, and he was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue jeans and glasses.

Police reminded students to walk in groups of three or more and in well-lit areas. Students also were reminded to report suspicious activity to police by calling 911 or (859) 622-1111.
