A 30-year-old Georgetown man was found shot to death in Owen County on Friday night.
The victim, who has not been named, was found shortly after 7:10 p.m. at 2430 Cull Pepper Lane, the Corinth home of Christopher Dennis Jr., 71, near the Scott County line.
Kentucky State Police said the shooting occurred during a possible drug-related meeting. More than 5 pounds of marijuana was found inside the home, police said.
Dennis was arrested early Saturday on charges of murder, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, and trafficking in marijuana over 5 pounds — enhanced by possession of a firearm.
