Dozens evacuated after bomb threat at north Corbin motel

More than two dozen people were evacuated from a Corbin motel because of a bomb threat late Tuesday, according to a news release from Laurel County Sheriff John Root.

State police brought in a dog that is trained to detect explosives, but no bomb was found.

The bomb scare was at the Fairfield Inn, off Interstate 75 in north Corbin.

Police continue to investigate, according to the news release.
