Former Lexington firefighter sentenced in child porn case

A former Lexington firefighter was sentenced in U.S. District Court in Lexington on Friday to eight years in prison on child pornography charges, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Kentucky.

Eric Bradley, 38, who lives in Jessamine County, admitted in December that he downloaded child porn on a computer at his fire station. He received more than 7,000 images of child porn, and some of the children were as young as 4, according to a news release.

An investigator with the Kentucky Attorney General's Office conducted an undercover investigation that identified files that contained child porn at a Lexington fire station. Bradley's computer was searched in June 2009.
