One person was killed and another was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash in Jackson County, state police said Wednesday in a news release.
Kimberly Durham was listed in serious condition Wednesday morning at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital.
The wreck happened shortly after noon Tuesday, when Durham, of McKee, who was driving south on Ky. 3444, crossed the center line. Her 1987 Lincoln Town Car collided with an oncoming 1996 Chevrolet Suburban, state police said.
A passenger in Durham's car, Earl Moore, 63, of McKee, died in the wreck, state police said.
Durham suffered multiple injuries and was flown to the UK Hospital.
The driver of the other vehicle, Karen Walden, 49, of London, and a passenger were not injured, state police said.
