A Paris woman died in a two-vehicle collision Tuesday night on U.S. 68 in Bourbon County, Kentucky State Police said.
Brenda Stamper, 59, of Paris was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after 10 p.m. Tuesday, said Trooper David Jones, spokesman for the state police post in Dry Ridge.
Stamper drove a Ford F150 pickup truck that had pulled out of Williamsburg Terrace apartments on U.S. 68 (Millersburg Road) and crossed over into an emergency lane with its headlights off.
The pickup driver pulled back into the correct lane when it collided with a Honda Ridgeline driven by Michael Storie, Pollitt said.
