Carlisle, Paris police investigate woman's shooting death

Carlisle police, with help from neighboring Paris police, are investigating the shooting death of a woman whose body was discovered early Friday.

The body of a 54-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to the head was found at 2:31 a.m. Friday at 118 South Locust Street, Carlisle police said. The woman’s identity has not been released.

Paris police have brought a mobile crime lab to the scene in Carlisle, police said.
