Lexington police seek 4 people tied to vending thefts

Lexington police are trying to identify four people who could be involved in a series of thefts of vending-machines and newspaper boxes.

Investigators said they would like to question the four about the rash of thefts. Police released surveillance footage of some of the thefts.

The following vending machines were damaged or stolen:

■ 2520 Nicholasville Road

■ 1127 Winchester Road

■ 4750 Hartland Parkway

■ 370 E. New Circle Road

■ 1109 Winchester Road

■ 2400 Buena Vista

■ 3650 Boston Road

■ 150 W. Lowry Lane

■ 249 Ruccio Way

■ 750 Newtown Court

The following Herald-Leader distribution boxes were stolen:

■ 1125 Winchester Road

■ 2312 Palumbo Drive

■ 2909 Richmond Road

■ 704 Euclid Avenue

■ 1600 Leestown Road

■ 1235 North Broadway

■ 1301 Winchester Road

■ 2341 Buena Vista Road
