LANCASTER — Two people have been charged in the death in April of a Paint Lick man, Lancaster police said Wednesday.
Timothy Turner, 46, and Georgeanne Naylor, 47, both of Lancaster, were arrested Tuesday, said Lancaster Assistant Police Chief Allen Weston.
They were charged in the overdose death of Brandon Hubbard, who was found dead April 18 in Nayor's home on Highland Avenue in Lancaster, Weston said. The street has been the site of drug activity in the Garrard County seat.
Turner was charged with reckless homicide for allegedly supplying methadone and other narcotics to Hubbard that resulted in his death, Weston said. Reckless homicide is a class D felony punishable by one to five years in prison.

Naylor was charged with tampering with physical evidence for allegedly burning the mattress on which Hubbard's body had been found. She also was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
The arrests were the result of a two-month investigation, Weston said. He said the arrests of other people might be coming soon.
Turner was already in the neighboring Lincoln County jail, awaiting extradition to Florida on a felony charge, Weston said.
Naylor also was being held in the Lincoln County jail.
Hubbard was survived by his wife, Laura Hubbard, and his father, Teddy Hubbard. His mother, Dee Hubbard, preceded him in death.
