Lexington police, firefighters to square off in annual softball game

Lexington Division of Police and Division of Fire are scheduled to square off Sunday in the 7th Annual Guns vs. Hoses Charity Softball game.

The game will be held 1 p.m. at Whitaker Bank Ballpark, home field for The Lexington Legends. The proceeds will benefit the YMCA. Admission is $8.

Fans of the firefighters or police can purchase red or blue T-shirts for $7 to show their support for either team.

The ticket to the charity game covers Legend's game, which follows the Guns vs. Hoses game. Police Chief Ronnie Bastin and Fire Chief Keith Jackson will throw at the first pitches at the Legends game.
