A man making a bank deposit reported he was robbed on Sir Barton Way, Lexington police said.
A 21-year-old man reported a suspect "punched him in the eye and grabbed a money deposit bag from him" at 2443 Sir Barton Way Saturday, the address for Central Bank and Trust Company, according to police records. The incident occurred between 11:15 and 11:20 a.m.
The victim was in the parking lot counting money when the subject, who appeared to be homeless, walked up and punched the victim through his open window, Lexington police Lt. Chris Van Brackel said Sunday.
If arrested, a suspect could be charged with second-degree robbery.
