A drug investigation and search in Georgetown yielded about 15 pounds of suspected marijuana, drug paraphernalia and $9,555 in cash, Kentucky State Police said Wednesday.
In addition, Armand Roberts, 27, of Georgetown was charged with trafficking in marijuana (more than 5 pounds), possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of controlled substances, and possession of a prescription controlled substance not in its original container.
Narcotics detectives found marijuana and hydrocodone pills Tuesday night after getting information about possible drug activity at Roberts' home, on Mossey Cup Court in Georgetown, state police said in a release.
Roberts remained in the Scott County Detention Center on Wednesday afternoon lieu of a $15,000 full cash bond. He is scheduled to appear in Scott District Court on Thursday.
