Flatwoods man gets 102 months in prison for receiving child porn

A man from Flatwoods was sentenced Tuesday to 102 months in federal prison after admitting that he ordered two videos of child pornography through the mail.

Charles Frank Bachor, 52, had emailed an undercover agent from the U.S. Postal Inspection Service in September 2010 asking for videos of child pornography, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney's Office. He filled out a money order form requesting videos of 8-year-old children engaging in sex.

On Dec. 8, 2010, a postal inspector delivered the videos to Bachor at his home, waited about 10 minutes and then executed a search warrant. Bachor had already watched one of the videos and had started watching the second one when the agents came in.

More than 1,500 images of child pornography were later found on Bachor's home computer.

Bachor pleaded guilty in June to one count of receipt of child pornography. He will have to serve at least 85 percent of his prison sentence and register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
