One person died in a Harlan County house fire early Saturday morning, authorities said.
A fire was reported at 3:32 a.m. at a home in Tremont Hill; the Wallins and Sunshine volunteer fire departments responded, according to a Kentucky State Police press release.
While fighting the fire, firefighters found the victim inside the house. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene, the release said.
The body, which has not been identified, was awaiting autopsy, police said.

The cause of the fire had not been determined and the death was being investigated by a state police detective.
