Man accused of stealing $19,000 worth of items from Somerset home is arrested

A man who is accused of stealing more than $19,000 worth of items from a home in Somerset has been arrested.

Marshall A. Dalton, 24, of Science Hill, was arrested by Somerset police early Friday, according to a news release from the Pulaski County sheriff's office. Police conducting a traffic stop discovered that Dalton was wanted by the sheriff's office on a warrant from Pulaski District Court.

Dalton took the items from a home in the Eagles Nest subdivision on Dec. 12 and pawned some of them, according to the release.

Dalton is charged with second-degree burglary and theft by unlawful taking, $10,000 or more. He was being held in the Pulaski County Detention Center on $20,000 cash bond.
