Danville police said some burglars put their bowling skills to use when they broke into a home on Boone Trail this weekend.
Police were called to the home at 10:30 a.m. Saturday to investigate the burglary, which had occurred overnight, and found that the burglars entered the home by throwing a bowling ball through a window at the back of the house.
Once inside, they took a a .38 caliber pistol, a flat screen television, jewelry and other personal items.
Police have charged Matthew L. Rose, 22, of Danville and Justin D. Hill, 24, of Stanford, with first-degree burglary. Hill also faces charges of fleeing and evading police, tampering with physical evidence, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, receiving stolen property over $500, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) and receiving stolen property (firearm.)
