Lexington bar owner robbed at gunpoint

A business owner was robbed at gunpoint early Monday morning, Lexington police said.

The unidentified victim was robbed of an undetermined amount of cash in the 3700 block of Kennesaw Drive at 4 a.m. Monday, police spokeswoman Sherelle Roberts said.

The money was from Jazzy G's Bar & Grill, 209 Old Georgetown Street, and it had not yet been deposited, Roberts said.

The victim told police that she was robbed by a man who displayed a gun. The man was about 6-feet-2 and about 220 pounds, and he wore a ski mask.
