McKee woman killed in one-car crash in Jackson

A McKee woman died in a one-vehicle crash Tuesday in Jackson County, Kentucky State Police said Wednesday.

Lillian Riddle, 31, a passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene, state police said in a news release.

The driver, Joshua Croucher, 21, of McKee was taken to the St. Joseph-Berea Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Croucher was driving on U.S. 421 when his vehicle left the road and struck an earth embankment, state police said.

The crash happened shortly after 5:15 p.m. Tuesday near Williams Hollow Road in Jackson County.
