A Georgetown man who wrecked his car on northbound Interstate 75 in Lexington on Monday night died early Wednesday.
Steve Cochran, 56, was not wearing a seat belt when his car went off the road and hit several trees near the southern Interstate 64 split about 8:30 p.m. Monday, according to a news release from the Fayette County Coroner's Office.
Cochran was taken to University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead just before 5 a.m. Wednesday, the release said.
Shoedinger Funeral Chapel in Grove City, Ohio, is handling the arrangements. The death is being investigated as accidental.
