Lexington man pleads guilty to robbing Northern Kentucky bank

A Lexington man has admitted in federal court that he robbed a Northern Kentucky bank of $19,000 in May, officials said.

Patrick Andrew Donald, 35, pleaded guilty Monday to bank robbery, a news release from the U.S. attorney's office said.

Donald admitted that he and an accomplice robbed the Security Bank and Trust Company in Maysville.

Donald was indicted in June. He is scheduled to be sentenced on Jan. 14, the news release said. Donald faces up to 20 years in prison.
