A body that was found by hikers in a remote part of Carter County was identified Wednesday, state police said.
However, a cause and manner of death ruling was still pending for Nathan Barker, 21, of Olive Hill.
Barker's skeletal remains were found by hikers Sunday in a secluded area of Grayson Lake near Clifty Creek.
Police said the body was identified based on initial autopsy results from the medical examiner's office in Frankfort and from evidence found at the scene, which included a wallet and identification cards.
