Lancaster man charged with 100 counts of rape, sodomy, 50 counts of incest

A Garrard County man was arrested Thursday on 100 counts of first-degree rape, 100 counts of first-degree sodomy and 50 counts of incest, Kentucky State Police said Friday.

Curtis Howard, 32, of Lancaster was charged in connection with sexual assaults from May to October, said Trooper Paul Blanton, public affairs officer for the Richmond post.

Howard was being held in the Lincoln County jail. Monday is the earliest possible day when he might appear in Garrard District Court, Blanton said.

Detective Rodney Wren is the investigating officer.
