Lexington police are ramping up use of IdThisPerson.com to get the public's help in identifying a wallet thief.

Police said a woman has been stealing wallets from victims' purses while shopping or dining out. The woman then uses the stolen credit cards to obtain multiple cash advances or make fraudulent transactions.

The woman is responsible for at least $5,000 in fraudulent transactions in Lexington, police said in a news release. If you can identify the person in the photo, go to IdThisPerson.com and submit a tip. If it checks out, you could earn a $25 reward.

The website has helped police catch suspects in the past. More photos are to be added in the weeks to come.
