A woman says she was struck by a bullet as she walked down the street in a Lexington neighborhood early Tuesday, police said.
The Lexington woman was shot in the shoulder; she did not have life-threatening injuries, said police Lt. Mark Brand.
The shooting occurred at 12:12 a.m. on Winburn Drive, he said. No one had been arrested by 6:30 a.m.
The woman was taken to the University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, Brand said. Her name and age weren't released.
