Stanford man died in two-vehicle crash

A Stanford man died in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning, Danville police said in a release.

Adam K. Maddox, 26, was taken to Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, where he died, police said.

The car Maddox was driving was in the turn lane on Lebanon Road and appeared to be turning into the American Greetings plant site. The car then made a U-turn onto Lebanon Road and was struck in the driver's side door by a truck driven by Jeffrey L. Sparks.

The collision was reported at 7:20 a.m. Tuesday.
