Ohio teen injured in I-75 crash dies

An Ohio teenager injured in a multi-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon on Interstate 75 died early Sunday.

Brianna Moore, 15, of Englewood, Ohio, was pronounced dead about 12:30 a.m. at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, according to the Fayette County coroner's office. The cause of death was blunt-force trauma to the head, according to the coroner's office.

Kindred Funeral Home in Englewood is in charge of arrangements.

The accident happened about 2:30 p.m. Saturday on northbound I-75 near the I-64 interchange. One car apparently was stopped on the side of the road before the crash, which involved four vehicles and blocked traffic for several hours.
