A Taylor County man was killed Sunday when his all-terrain vehicle collided with a pickup driven by a man who was allegedly driving while impaired, according to a news release from Kentucky State Police.
William J. Cecil, 40, of Finley was driving a 2012 Polaris Razor ATV on Ky. 208 in Marion County when a 2002 Chevrolet pickup driven by Joseph M. Spalding, 28, of Lebanon crossed the center line and collided with the ATV.
Cecil was pronounced dead at Springview Hospital in Lebanon. A passenger on the ATV, Jonathan Cecil, 14, was hurt, but his injuries were not considered life-threatening, police said.
Spaulding was not hurt. Police charged him with driving under the influence, and more charges are pending, according to the news release.
