Crashes disrupt traffic in Lexington

Lexington Herald-Leader

Several collisions made travel difficult Wednesday morning on some Lexington roads, including Man o' War, Clays Mill, Tates Creek and Liberty, according to the city's traffic management center.

Man o' War was a particularly troubled route with multiple crashes.

A single-vehicle accident at Lansdowne Drive and Redding Road temporarily shut down Lansdowne between East Reynolds Road and Redding, according to the city's traffic management center. There were reports the road reopened about 8:10 a.m.

Other injury accidents were reported on the outer loop of Man o' War Boulevard at Alumni Drive and on Fontaine Road at Chinoe, where a motorcycle crashed.

No injuries were reported in three more wrecks on the outer loop of Man o' War at Mt. McKinley Way, at Osbourn Way, and at Victoria Way. Crashes also occurred on South Hanover Avenue at East High Street; Liberty Road at Old Todds Road; on Clays Mill Road at Keithshire Way; on Alexandria Drive between Gulfstream Drive and Greatstone; on Tates Creek Road at Hart Road; and on University Avenue at South Limestone.
