Lexington police issued a traffic advisory Friday, asking residents to be aware of possible traffic congestion this weekend.
Drivers should expect heavy traffic or congestion through Sunday, police said.
Here's a list of events happening this weekend:

■ The Bourbon Chase — Main Street, between Broadway and Jefferson, will be closed from 10 a.m. to 12 a.m. (midnight).
■ NBA Exhibition Game (Rupp Arena) — The Washington Wizards will meet the New Orleans Pelicans at 7 p.m. Saturday. The Wizards have former Wildcat John Wall, while the Pelicans have Anthony Davis and Darius Miller. Drivers should expect heavy traffic around the convention center, as well as main roadways leading to the event. Drivers are encouraged to approach the event from Newtown Pike and Broadway. Electronic signage will be available to guide drivers.
■ Whitaker Bank Ball Park Concert — Florida Georgia Line with Colt Ford and Tyler Farr will be performing at the ball park at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Drivers should expect heavy traffic around the ballpark, as well as main roadways leading to the event. In addition, parking for this event is very limited. Citizens should be aware of no parking zones—in private adjacent lots—to avoid being towed by private companies.
■ Fire Prevention Parade — Several downtown streets will be closed on Sunday for the annual Lexington Fire Prevention Parade and festival, which will take place from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The parade and festival will affect the following downtown streets:
At 5:30 p.m., Midland Avenue will close from East Third Street to Main Street.
At 6 p.m., all of East Main Street will close from Walton Avenue to Mill Street.
All cross streets of East Main from Walton Avenue to Mill Street will be affected until the end of the parade.
Main Street will be closed from Walton to Broadway from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. for the parade.
