Shooting reported at Lexington Waffle House; 2 wounded men show up at hospital

Two men were shot early Sunday, apparently at the Waffle House on Georgetown Road in Lexington, according to Lt. Sam Murdock.

Police were called to the restaurant about 3 a.m. When they arrived, there were no shooting victims. Police later learned that two men with gunshot wounds were being treated at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital.

According to WKYT-TV, a 19-year-old male who had been shot several times was listed in critical condition. The other victim was a 25-year-old male. No names have been released.
