Fayette coroner: 74-year-old man died of multiple injuries from assault

A 74-year-old Lexington man died of multiple injuries after an assault at a residence on Tishoff Drive, according to a report released Saturday afternoon by the Fayette County coroner’s office.

Tom Rogers was found about 5:30 p.m. Friday in a home in the 1200 block of Tishoff, and he was taken to University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, police said. He was pronounced dead moments after arrival at the hospital at 6:13 p.m.

Lexington police said Saturday morning that no arrests have been made.
