55-year-old man is struck, killed by train in Lexington

A 55-year-old man who was killed by a train in Lexington Sunday night has been identified as Morris LaGrone, the Fayette County Coroner's Office said.

LaGrone, of Lexington, was sitting on the tracks near Baker Court about 8:40 p.m. when the train hit him, the Fayette County Coroner's Office said.

The case is being investigated as an accident, according to the coroner's office.
