Deaths of man, woman appear to be murder-suicide, a Jackson County coroner says

A man and a woman were found dead Friday inside a Jackson County mobile home, said Deputy Coroner Lonnie Hacker.

Jeff Wilder, 47, and Nancy Angel, 48, were found by her daughter around noon in the mobile home about two miles east of Sand Gap, Hacker said. Sand Gap is north of McKee, the county seat.

"It appears to be a murder-suicide," he said.

Autopsies are scheduled to be performed Saturday morning by the state medical examiner's office in Frankfort.
