2 Lexington juveniles arrested after chase involving sword, gun and club

Two juveniles are facing charges after chasing another juvenile with a sword, a gun and a club early Monday.

Lexington police spokeswoman Sherelle Roberts said the victim was walking home near Baybrook and Mount Tabor roads when the two juveniles approached him with multiple weapons. The victim took off running down the 2800 block of Point Court and into a neighbor's house. The two juveniles followed and kicked down the door, then left quickly when they realized they had run into the wrong house; they got into a white or silver Hyundai occupied by three other juveniles, Roberts said.

Witnesses told police the two juveniles were students at Henry Clay High School and where they lived. They were arrested and charged with first-degree burglary, and taken to the juvenile detention facility on Spurr Road.
