A LaRue County woman remained hospitalized Wednesday morning after a traffic crash Tuesday in Laurel County.

Elizabeth Collier, 38, of Hodgenville was listed in fair condition at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital.

Collier was injured late Tuesday afternoon, when her minivan overturned on Ky. 3434, the Laurel County Sheriff's Department said.

The crash happened shortly after 5 p.m. about five miles north of London, Laurel Sheriff John Root said.

Collier was traveling north in a Chrysler minivan when its right front tire dropped off the edge of the pavement, Root said. The vehicle went out of control and overturned, coming to a stop partially on the road and partially in the ditch.

Collier was flown to UK Hospital from the crash scene.
