Kentucky State Police arrested a Knox County man Wednesday for allegedly operating a methamphetamine lab in his garage.
Joseph Jones, 38, of Corbin, is charged with manufacturing meth; unlawful possession of meth-making materials; and possessing a firearm while being a convicted felon, according to the Harlan KSP post.
Troopers received a tip about a possible meth lab and located the operation inside a garage in the Corbin area, police said.
Jones, who lives next to the garage, was arrested and taken to the Knox County jail, troopers said.
Corbin city police, along with deputies from Knox and Laurel counties, assisted in the case. An investigation is continuing.
