Lexington police have charged a third man in connection with the Oct. 17 shooting death of Jeffrey Adams.
Sayvon Thompson, 20, is charged with complicity to commit murder. He is the third person charged in the murder of Adams, 19, who was found shot and killed in the hallway of an apartment complex at 1750 McCullough Drive, just off Winburn Drive.
Nathan Miller, 19, and a juvenile are also charged.
According to court documents, Miller, Thompson and the juvenile arranged a meeting for a narcotics transaction with Adams. When the people met with Adams, he was shot multiple times.

On Thursday, Thompson pleaded not guilty to the murder charge. He's scheduled to appear in court Nov. 5 for a preliminary hearing.
Thompson was being held in the Fayette County jail without bail.
