A male juvenile was robbed at gunpoint Sunday night in Lexington by a person who got away with his Nike athletic shoes, police said.
It happened just after 7 p.m. in the 300 block of Bainbridge Drive, off Palumbo Drive, according to officers.
Lt. Jesse Harris said the victim was walking on the street when another male approached him with a handgun and demanded his shoes. Harris said the robber might be a juvenile, but police had not been able to confirm that.
The victim indicated he might know the robber, according to Harris.
