Three people were injured in a chain-reaction wreck Wednesday in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky State Police said.
It happened about 1 p.m. Wednesday at Ky. 127 and Ky. 151, according to state police in Frankfort.
Troopers said a Dodge pickup truck crashed into the back of a Toyota Corolla, sending it into the rear of a Nissan Sentra. Both the Nissan and the Toyota were stopped at the intersection for a traffic light, state police said.
The impact sent the Nissan through the intersection; it stopped off the left shoulder of the road, according to police.
The Nissan's driver, Scott Richards, 50, of Owensboro, was treated at Frankfort Regional Medical Center and released, officials said.
Stephanie Aldridge, 38, of Frankfort, drove the Toyota. She was listed in fair condition Thursday morning at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital.
Kurt L. Meyer, 79, was driving the Dodge pickup. He was treated at UK and released, officials said.
