A Simpsonville man led police on a high-speed chase before driving back to his home and crashing into the residence, state police said.
State police were called to Justin Cottrell's home at 611 Shumaker Drive on Monday because of a complaint about a disturbance.
Cottrell, who was intoxicated, fled in a 1993 Chevrolet truck, according to a news release from state police. When a state trooper tried to stop him on U.S. 60, Cottrell sped up to 101 mph, according to the release.
