Lexington police charged two people Wednesday in connection with the robbery of a bank Nov. 25.
Kenneth Honican, 51, and Amanda J. Eldridge, 24, were arrested following the robbery of United Bank in the 3000 block of Harrodsburg Road, police said.
Officers were called to the bank at 3:06 p.m. after witnesses told police that a man and a woman entered the bank, approached a teller and passed a note demanding money. The two people took the money and left the bank on foot, heading to the rear of the business, toward Arrowhead, the release said.
Homican was arrested in Lexington, and Eldridge was arrested was arrested in Jessamine County with the cooperation of authorities there.
