Lexington police are asking for help finding a man wanted in connection with two bank robberies.
Cody Arnett, 29, is charged with two counts of first-degree robbery for involvement in Tuesday's robbery of United Bank and the Nov. 25 robbery of People's Exchange Bank, police say.
Officers were called to the United Bank on Harrodsburg Road at 2:01 p.m. Tuesday after a man entered the bank wearing a ski mask and dark colored clothing, and demanded money. After receiving the money, the man ran toward Arrowhead Drive.
Officers received a description of a possible getaway vehicle, a red Toyota Tacoma with Kentucky license plate 605BHA. The truck was eventually stopped on New Circle and Harrodsburg roads; however, the driver sped away, police said.
