A man was shot Monday morning in the parking lot of Griffith's Market on East Sixth Street.
Lexington Police Lt. Raymond Roller said the victim was a 38-year-old man. Police responded to multiple calls of shots fired at 10:56 a.m. Roller said the victim had been shot at least once, possibly more, and his injury was potentially life-threatening.
The victim was found at an apartment complex next door to the market and was taken to University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital. He was alert but didn't provide pertinent information.
The police are looking for two suspects, and are working on getting a better description. Surveillance photos that police said depicted the two suspects were released Monday afternoon.
