Sadieville man dies in crash of SUV, pickup truck

A Sadieville man was killed Friday in a two-vehicle crash near Corinth in Grant County, Kentucky State Police said in a news release.

Jeffery Adams, 42, died at the scene, the news release said.

Adams was a passenger in a 1998 Dodge Durango SUV driven by Amy Lemons, 38, of Sadieville.

Lemons was traveling west on Owenton Road (Ky. 330) when she lost control on the slick road. The SUV crossed into the eastbound lane in the path of a 2003 Dodge pickup truck driven by Rodney Milner, 41, of Berry, state police said.

Lemons was taken to University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, where a spokeswoman said she was listed in fair condition Friday afternoon. Milner was taken to St. Elizabeth Edgewood in Northern Kentucky, where he was treated and released.

The collision is under investigation.
