A London man was charged with various drug-related offenses Sunday after he allegedly drove on the wrong side of the road, according to Kentucky State Police.
Roger D. Hinkle, 54, is charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, driving under the influence of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to state police at the London post.
A trooper on patrol shortly after 3 a.m. Sunday noticed a vehicle traveling on the wrong side of U.S. 25 about a mile north of London, according to state police.
The trooper stopped the vehicle and determined that Hinkle, the driver, was under the influence of drugs, police said. A search of the vehicle turned up 11 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine, along with digital scales and drug paraphernalia.

Hinkle was taken to the Laurel County jail.
