A $1,000 reward is being offered for information in the shooting deaths of a Laurel County couple.
The bodies of Donnie Jackson, 62, and Sharon Jackson, about 58, were found Sunday morning after a house fire on Slate Ride Road in Laurel County, officials said.
The pair, who were thought to be married, had suffered gunshot wounds, the Laurel County Sheriff's Department said.
On Monday, the sheriff's department announced that London-Laurel County Crime Stoppers is offering the reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever is responsible for the slayings.
According to authorities, firefighters went to the house just after 10 a.m. Sunday and found the victims inside.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
