A Lexington man was indicted Monday on charges that he sent child porn over Twitter.
Jordan Craig Ross is charged with 20 counts of distributing matter portraying sexual performance by a minor, according to the indictment filed in Fayette Circuit Court.
Police said Twitter officials notified them about a Twitter account containing portrayals of minors in sexual performance. An investigation was opened, and police said they determined that Ross, 23, distributed "well over 20" such files via Twitter, the documents said.
The alleged incident occurred in November 2014.
Craig pleaded not guilty to the charges in February and was later released on a $10,000 bond. He was ordered to stay with his parents; have no contact with the victims or complaining witness; and be supervised with children under age 16.
Craig is scheduled to appear in court May 8.
