A Perry County man who was wanted for murder has been arrested.
State police arrested James D. Brewer, 61, at his home on Coates Branch Road in the Ary community at about noon Tuesday, according to a news release.
Robert Earl Miller, who also lived in Ary, died last Wednesday after being shot once in the face a day earlier at a home on Coates Branch Road. He had been in an altercation with Brewer, police said.
When officers came to his home on Tuesday, Brewer tried to run, but officers from the state police special response team were able to stop him, state police said.
