A woman was in critical condition at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital after a wreck Sunday night on Interstate 64 in Montgomery County, Kentucky State Police said.
Jamiee Edens, 67, was a passenger in a 2001 Toyota Rav 4 driven by Steve Edens, 41, according to state police at the Morehead post. Both are Lexington residents.
Police said Edens was traveling west on I-64 when he lost control of the Toyota, which entered the median and then struck a rock embankment. The crash occurred about 9:55 p.m. near Mount Sterling.
Steve Edens was transported to St. Joseph Hospital in Mount Sterling, where he was in stable condition.

Jaimee Edens was flown to UK, police said.
An investigation is continuing.
