Lexington police are asking for help in solving the theft of designer eyeglasses frames and apprehending a man wanted for heroin possession and participation in a criminal syndicate.

Crime of the Week:
LensCrafters of Lexington had several pairs of designer frames stolen by an experienced thief. Her technique can be seen on surveillance video from April 28. Police said the woman wore a wig, obtained a key to the showroom case, removed items from the case and "defeated security mechanisms" designed to alert employees of a theft. Investigators are asking for help in solving this case.

Lexington authorities are searching for Robert M. Eastburn, who is wanted on charges of possession of heroin and engaging in a criminal syndicate. Eastburn is a white man, 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing 155 pounds. He is 27 years old.
